ISRAEL

I wished to offer this as a series on Israel. Never in recent times has there been so much talk and so much going on with Israel as today. We have a President who does not understand secular history much less the Biblical history of Israel which in fact are one but again, he fails to understand and thinks he can bring peace by basically destroying Israel. I truly believe that this series is important so that we can better understand just what effect the survival or destruction of Israel will have on not just the United States but the entire world. The outline for this series comes from a dear friend and former Pastor of mine. I have added the commentary in order to make it easily read and understood. I have also attempted to place the series into recent current events. I hope that it will be enlightening to those who read what is being presented.

WHEN A NATION IS A MIRACLE - ISRAEL

Jeremiah 31:35

35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

ISRAEL IS A SIGN TO THE REST OF THE WORLD – what goes on in Israel basically tells the world when to slow down, when to speed up. At this point we certainly have been speeding along with little or not regard to what is occurring in Israel and in the country in regards to Israel. As of recent days with the current administration leading the way toward a Two State Israel and Palestine the brakes have been put on and things have slowed down to take note of the happenings. Even more so I believe things will slow down and more attention will be paid given the tone of the speech given by the leader of this administration in Cairo, Egypt .

SIGNS ARE IMPORTANT - Farmer John lived on a quiet rural highway. But, as time went by, the traffic slowly built up at an alarming rate. The traffic was so heavy and so fast that his chickens were being run over at a rate of three to six a day. So one day Farmer John called the sheriff's office and said, "You've got to do something about all of these people driving so fast and killing all of my chickens." / "What do you want me to do?" asked the sheriff./
"I don't care, just do something about those crazy drivers!"
So the next day he had the county workers go out and erected a sign that said: SLOW: SCHOOL CROSSING Three days later Farmer John called the sheriff and said, "You've got to do something about these drivers. The 'school crossing' sign seems to make them go even faster."
So, again, the sheriff sends out the county workers and they put up a new sign: SLOW: CHILDREN AT PLAY / That really sped them up. So Farmer John called and called and called every day for three weeks. Finally, he asked the sheriff, "Your signs are doing no good. Can I put up my own sign?" The sheriff told him, "Sure thing, put up your own sign." He was going to let Farmer John do just about anything in order to get him to stop calling everyday to complain. The sheriff got no more calls from Farmer John. Three weeks later, curiosity got the best of the sheriff and he decided to give Farmer John a call. "How's the problem with those drivers. Did you put up your sign?" "Oh, I sure did. And not one chicken has been killed since then. I've got to go. I'm very busy." He hung up the phone.
The sheriff was really curious now and he thought to himself, "I'd better go out there and take a look at that sign... it might be something that WE could use to slow down drivers..." So the sheriff drove out to Farmer John's house,
and his jaw dropped the moment he saw the sign. It was spray-painted on a sheet of wood:

Once again the world is slowing down to WATCH FOR ISRAEL as they are GOD’S SIGN TO US!! Once again we are made to think with all that is happening around us of the NATION that is a living MIRACLE Corporately – and that is ISRAEL!! - We are praying for the “peace of Jerusalem” but what does that mean? How will it directly affect us? What price are we willing to pay?

Question: IF it costs you economically, do you still want the peace of Israel?

-If it costs you physically, do you still want the peace of Israel?

I wanted to take you to this OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET and lift from the pages of his and other writers some truths that get buried in the hustle and bustle of our everyday living UNTIL a Crises hits us concerning the Middle East. THEN SUDDENLY, WE START TO REMEMBER SEVERAL THINGS.

I want to begin today by telling you that a lot of the problem in the interpretation of MODERN DAY PROPHETS is this: It is impossible to understand Bible Prophecy without first having an understanding of Israel.

The people and the LAND of Israel are the DESTINY OF THE WORLD - - for as the JEW GOES, so GOES THE WORLD!

-The Jew is God’s yardstick/ The Jew is God’s outline

-The Jew is God’s blueprint/ -The Jew is God’s program and plan

There are times when we reach a sense in which we think GOD IS SILENT TO US BOTH Personally and Corporately – but it is then like never before we should WATCH ISRAEL!!

The eyes of the world are focused on this tiny little state – and so it should be for there is located the NERVE CENTER OF THE ENTIRE WORLD!

Why this Nation has Lost it’s Moral Identity

In the past forty years we have watched the degradation of the morality of this country as no other time in our history. Today the leadership of this country denies that America is a Christian Nation. The leadership of this country is the most genocidal ever experienced in this country with his stand on abortion and the funding of organizations which murder the unborn at a horrendous rate. The leadership declares this month, June, to be LGBT Pride Month. When in the history of this country has one seen such decline. I have attempted to show why this has occurred in the following:

In parts of the old Soviet Union less than 5% of the populations were card-carrying Communists--but they forced total control over the 95%.

In the United States approximately 5% of the populations are atheist. Yet this 5% are aggressively forcing control over the 95% and stripping the U.S. of religious freedom and national heritage.

As an example: Michael Newdow, an atheist (one of the 5%) filed suit in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to remove the words "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance sued to remove our national motto, "In God We Trust," from all U.S. currency. Replacing American coins and bills will cost the national treasury billions of dollars. Newdow cares absolutely nothing about that or the rights of the 95%. Informed sources expect the Court to agree with Newdow's suit. Fortunately he lost but the precedent was set allowing for other frivolous lawsuits such as this to be brought before the court. Newdow did not stop and sued Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and others involved in the inauguration ceremony of Barack Obama. The first count of the suit was to prevent the Chief Justice from saying "so help me God.

Out National Anthem, the "Star Spangled Banner", contains the words "In God is our trust". Another national hymn, "America" says "God shed His grace on thee." Also at risk are "God Bless America." What about "Our fathers' God, to Thee, author of liberty, to Thee we sing. Long may our land be bright with freedom's holy light, Protect us by Thy might, Great God our King!"? The 5% says the 95% can no longer sing these in public.

Our Forefathers did not leave us without guidance as to the confluence of civil and religious matters. They emphatically addressed this in the Declaration of Independence where they said: "And for the support of this declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, and Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

Instead of banning references to Divine Providence in government, the writers of both the Declaration Of Independence and the Constitution encouraged the people to call boldly upon divine Providence. The Constitutional Convention was failing until Benjamin Franklin rose and urged the men to pray. Every President since has sought the Nation's prayers until the current occupier of the White House. This was the concept imbued into both historic documents, the Declaration and Constitution, and was the attitude the Founding Fathers expected of all future generations. To deny that obvious truth is to resort to fraudulence and deceit. But, the 5% are doing that.

In harmony with the Founders well-defined position, in 1892, the United States Supreme Court declared, "Our laws and institutions must necessarily be based upon the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind." America's public education occupied the highest academic achievement in the world until atheist Madelyn Murray O'Hare (one of the 5%) succeeded in removing prayer from public schools. Since that time American educational standard has plummeted to that of a Third World Country. Whether the effect of prayer on the students had varied from spiritual to psychological, the fact is, the benefit had been there. At an extremely high price America forfeited its educational accomplishment to satisfy the 5%. The Duke of Wellington correctly said "Educate children without religion and you create a race of clever devils."

President John Quincy Adams explained, "Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." He went on to say, "The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: It connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity." Of the Declaration of Independence, he declared: "It laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity." Note the expression "indissoluable bond."

James Madison, a chief contributor to the Constitution, explained its relationship to God when he said: "We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government but upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

Today, in direct opposition to such constitutional interpretation, these few forbid displaying the Ten Commandments or other references to God in Courts, classrooms, and government property across the land.

Where do these few get support for their position? Not from the Constitution or its authors. It comes from their self-centered willingness to ignore the will of the masses, to suppress the 95% majority and accommodate their own selfish ways. There is no difference in their tactic and the tactic of Communism's 5%. Were the men alive today who fought British tyranny and defeated the greatest army and navy on earth, they would rise up against this 5% with equal intensity. When Patrick Henry said, "America was not founded by religionists, nor on any religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ!," he was not booed down by politicians. He was applauded by Statesmen. Today the media would crucify him.

America has been robbed by political bandits and they continue to ransack the rights of the majority to appease the few.

I believe there are two reasons why the 95% act powerless.

One: The failure of the Constitutional Convention was that it could not anticipate how devious minds would later search for weakness in the document and then claim those weaknesses were what the framers intended to be the Constitution's greatest strengths. This is happening. Those who use these tactics call it a living document to be changed on the whim of the few. The oft-quoted "separation of Church and State" which expression does not appear in the Constitution, is used to imply that government is to prohibit all religious expression within its own ranks. If so, this favored the 5% over the 95% and democracy ceased to exist. We hear and see examples of this daily. A lie repeated often enough soon sounds like truth.

Two: The spiritual inertia of Christians and other conscientious Americans who hold a vast numerical majority but act powerless before a minor opposition. We have laid down, played dead, sought to appease these few by watering down the gospel and by appearing to be no different than those in opposition. We were told to be in the world but not of the world but in today’s church it is difficult to tell where the line is and in many it has totally disappeared.

Political freedom and spiritual strength are inseparable. This nation is dependent on both. When the foundation of Godly truth is removed from political life the nation will collapse. There is no other way. The 5% are "little foxes" that destroy the vines and are capable of bringing America to crashing defeat.

Where and how does all this come to an end? Or is it too late and are the words of the Chief Occupier true, “America is not a Christian Nation”…..

Here's Another Example of the Change That Was Promised

How quickly we have fallen into the socialist trap. This article from the Patriot Post written by Rich Galen speaks loudly and correctly of what is to come. Welcome to the age of Government Motors and the Change which was promised.

How long will it take for America to wake up or are we like the lobster in the pot who relaxes even more as the water gets warmer and only realizes that it has being cooked when it is too late.

"By the time you read this on Monday morning, General Motors will have declared bankruptcy. ... On April 28, 2000 a share of GM would have cost you $93.63. Last night you could have bought about 125 shares for that same money as GM was trading at 75 cents. ... Obama will own over 72.5 percent of whatever the 'new' GM looks like with a trust fund of the United Auto Workers owning the second biggest chunk at 17.5 percent. For those of you who, like me, are deficient when it comes to carrying-the-ones I did the arithmetic: The Obama Administration and the UAW will own 90 percent of General Motors. ... The government can't force us to buy GMs or Chryslers, but they can provide incentives for us to do it. The Congress can pass legislation giving an additional tax exemption or deduction for the purchase of any car made by a company which is more then 50 percent owned by the federal -- the American federal -- government. Conversely the Congress might pass a law putting an excise tax on the purchase of any vehicle not manufactured by a company which is more than 50 percent owned by the U.S. government. The scary part about how far across the collectivism causeway we have come in so short a period of time is this: A few months ago you would have snorted at the silliness of a suggestion like that. This morning you're saying, 'Oh, my, he's right. They might just do it.' The auto industry and health care are tied together. The thought of the government running them makes me car sick." --political analyst Rich Galen
