Sunday Music Time-- Easter Sunday 2012

"When He Was On The Cross I Was On His Mind".  Florida Boys

This is not your typical Easter Song but when I heard the words I could only think , I sure am glad.

For those who have not come to that realization it is as simple as ABC.

Admit that you are a sinner, the one Christ died for and the one He had on His mind. For all have sinner and come short of the glory of God.
Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and that He indeed died for you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes on him will not perish but have eternal life.
Confess  that you believe. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Father, I know that I am a sinner and ask that you forgive me of my sins. I ask you to be the Lord of my life.  In Jesus name,  Amen.

If you followed those steps and prayed that simple prayer then you can enjoy the rest of the story.

Of course the cross was not the end of the story because He was buried and rose again on the third day, the day we celebrate as Easter.  The stone was rolled away and He came out of the tomb and then appeared unto his followers.  What wonderful news that was to them and what wonderful news it is to us, but that is not the end of the story.

The scripture has this to say about the rest of the story:

Acts 1:10-12  They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Now that is the full story but by no means the end. For those who believe it will only be the beginning.

We are including another song that tells of His return.  You can use this link to listen and enjoy the song.
