Simon & Garfunkel - Sound of Silence With Lyrics

l

Verse 4 of the Sound of Silence speaks volumes:

"Fools", said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed
In the wells of silence

How long will people remain silent? How long before they give a voice to the voiceless?

President of PP,  Cecile Richards accuses pro-lifers of being "dishonest" and "dangerous." But what is truly dangerous is covering up child sex abuse. It's making a secret deal to hide the abortions of 14-year-old girls.

It's hard to get anyone on the left to even admit this is a problem. Look at NAMBLA, all of the court cases allowing teens to get abortion without parental consent (a fair portion of these are from statutory rape), the list goes on.

It's a lack of morality. This is what happens when you do not have a moral center to guide you.

Exactly Chuck and the silence is deafening.

I love this song!

In fact, when I was a church organist and choir director (1972-1975), I performed this song as a solo.

Of course, Simon & Garfunkel were leftists. Still, I admit to liking some of their music.

AOW music has a way of bridging boundaries doesn't it.
