Conversations on this and that. A place to gather and civilly (politely, courteously) discuss current events, happenings, or just fun things to laugh about. You have the right to your own opinion, but remember ... so does everyone else. Those with nothing to add to the conversation will not be warmly welcomed.

It Just Keeps Getting...
This just might make your day a little brighter!!
Those of you, who worry about democrats versus republicans -- relax, here is our real problem.
In a Purdue University classroom, they were discussing the qualifications to be President of
the United States. It was pretty simple. The candidate must be a natural born
citizen of at least 35 years of age. However, one girl in the class immediately
started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In
short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals
from becoming president. The class was taking it in and letting her rant, and
not many jaws hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating "What
makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one
born by C-section?" Yep, these are the same kinds of 18-year-olds that are now
voting in our elections!
They breed and they walk among US...
YEP HERE IS ANOTHER LEFTIST DEMOCRAT LEADER IN THE MAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be
amused.

Fred G
No Fred, she actually bumped her head on the rock that she was born under as she crawled out.
They live among us. They breed. They grow up to be this child of unfortunate intelligence.
Old Rose

This is the problem with the Constitution, changes over time. The framers didn't envision c-sections.
My dad was in a college class years ago and a woman was arguing that we didn't really need farms anymore, you could get all of the food you needed in the grocery store.
I think she's under-Secretary of the Interior under Obama now but I'm not certain.
"This is the problem with the Constitution, changes over time. The framers didn't envision c-sections."
That sounds like Ducky's argument! LOL
Typical Leftnoid and makes no sense at all , at least to those who have any common sense.

Um, isn't that high-school material?
Anyway, the idiocy of the young woman and her comment about C-sections is a total non sequitur. Obviously, this young woman hasn't been taught any logic skills.
Suppose we attempt to control our population of morons by implanting a Lemming gene … ?
O.K. Bleach and blonde come to mind. Then, she would have to be a natural blonde in this case. I know. I know. I'm going to get emails. :-)
AOW, actually 8th grade civic's when I went to school and by then we already knew most of it anyhow from American history taught from 3rd grade on.
Sam, a wonderful idea, let the "lemming" begin.
PJ, my three want you address, not your e mail hahaha. However they agreed , she had to be blond.
Chuck, I think you are correct or UnderSec of Agriculture maybe.
