Mid-Week Laughter Time

It is  once again time for a break from all the stress of work and such and enjoy a few laughs as provided by the "usual suspects from the Left". From UH DUH to Clueless the Left continues to provide us with totally laughable statements and foolish plans.

Have you heard of the latest bill introduced by another whacko  Leftist ,Nanny stater   who believes that the "gubermint" should supply all our needs? Well hold on and make sure you have nothing in your mouth. Wouldn't want anyone choking or spewing liquid on the keyboard.

The DIAPER Act really needs no introduction, it would do just that, provide diapers. To babies. For free.
Sponsored by Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D.-Conn.), the Diaper Investment and Aid to Promote Economic Recovery Act (DIAPER Act) directs the federal government to distribute free diapers for moms who put their kids in day care centers to "relieve some of the stress on families facing hardship in this economy."

How totally ridiculous in light of the fact that the country is BROKE. Guess folks like her have never heard of cloth diapers. You know the kind that you wash and reuse over and over again. But then I am sure if cloth diapers were being used she would call for FREE Diaper Service instead of just washing them, often times by hand, as many have done.

"Maybe [Republicans] just couldn't understand the whole [American Jobs Act] thing all at once. So we're going to break it up into bite-size pieces so they can take a thoughtful approach to this legislation." --Barack Obama
 Uh, maybe it just needs to be shredded into small pieces and trashed then allow a real plan as put forth by the Republicans do the job. But you can't understand "simple" can you Obama?  It seems that many of the Democrats didn't understand it either Obama.

"The other thing I've hear from my friends who oppose this -- this whole jobs bill -- [is] that this is just temporary. Well let me tell you, it's not temporary when that 911 call comes in and a woman's being raped, if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape. It's not temporary to that woman. It's not temporary to the guy whose store is being held up and there's a gun pointed at his head, if a cop shows up and he's not killed. ... I wish these guys who thought it was temporary, I wish they had some notion of what it was like to be on the other side of a gun, or [to have] a 200-pound man standing over you, telling you to submit." --Joe Biden

Hey Joe, just how long do you think it would take a cop to arrive after the 911 call was made if it could be made at all with a 200 pound man standing over you telling you to submit. And Joe how you gonna call 911 with a gun being held to your head in a robbery at a store?  More stupid thinking from Mr.Clueless himself.
===========================================================
Almost as good as the Diaper Act:

"On several occasions now, we've seen, quite frankly, the Congress is in rebellion, determined, as Abraham Lincoln said, to wreck or ruin at all costs. I believe, quite frankly, in the direct hiring of 15 million unemployed Americans at $40,000 a head, some more than $40,000, some less than $40,000 -- that's a $600 billion stimulus. It could be a five-year program. For another $104 billion, we bailout all of the states. ... For another $100 billion, we bailout all of the cities." --Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL)

Says one who has never held a real job in his life but has lived off the dollars made off the back of poor blacks by his race baiting daddy.

===========================================================

"Republicans think if the economy improves it might help President Obama. So they root for the economy to fail, and oppose every effort to improve it." --Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV)

Said by the one who blocks every bill submitted by  Republicans and sits on his own Presidents NOJOBS bill for a month before using chicanery in the Senate rules to bring it to a vote after many attempts by Republicans to bring it to an up or down vote.

==========================================================

"The other thing [the Occupy Wall Street movement] needs, and I don't want this to come out the wrong way -- not needs, but what will happen -- if we think back to the late 60s, what is the most stirring image of all the rebellion that happened? What do we remember? Kent State. Now, I'm not saying someone has to get killed. ... I'm not saying a death. I'm just saying we are a visual society." --MSNBC's Donny Deutsch

Can this guy be for real? I mean calling for shooting like at Kent State which evidence now shows that the incident was contrived by the Leftist protesters to begin with . Sounds of shots or what sounded like shots were heard before National Guard  fired.  And the Left claims the Tea Party is violent?

==========================================================

For the final laugh of today.   Please put down all drink containers and swallow all foods. I do not wish to be responsible for ruined computers or chocking readers.

Herman Cain is pandering to white Republicans out there who don't like black folks." --MSNBC's Ed Schultz

Now just how stupid can one get? But then again it's Ed running off at the mouth as usual. He and Joe Biden must have attended the same school of stupid.

Are they going to provide diapers for the elderly too?

I tell you this: we live in bizarre times!

dyviaRe: Kent State: Those idiot protesters were stupid. The Government sent in a bunch of barely trained, untried Reservists, and to this day, I can remember the student that was shot, rushing one of the troops. What would you have done, if that happened to you? The troops were outnumbered, and probably afraid of being attacked. So the trooper pulled the trigger, same as I'd have done, under the same circumstances. The National Guard was "dragged through the strets", and given reprimands for having done their job.

The riots ended, right there, when those stupid kids found out that it could, and did, become deadly.

Rioters, or protesters in PC, have no sese of control. That lot in NY are trashing that park, which is privately owned, and had refused to vacate when order was given to do so. I'm not sure, but I think the owner was paid off, to keep quiet.

Someone, I don't know who, should gain control, and disband the lot of the OWS. They have created a mess they have no intention of cleaning up.

AOW, no no diapers for the elderly. We have to buy our own since we are now rich with a 3.5% raise in SS. The first one since I have been eligible for the mess. Hmm thats what. If the average is $1082 a month then it will equal a whopping $39 a month. Unfortunately this is an average many draw less than $900 a month which would get a whole $31.50 which won't buy diapers or much of anything else for that matter.

At least she's trying to keep it green, so to speak. We wouldn't want all those diapers taking up landfill space now would we! /s

Good thing she's not including the same service for the house and seneate! We'd go broke with all the crap that flows outta there!

Scotty, she wants to pay for the "easy kind" the throw away kind but then she doesnt care she doesn't pay for it, we do.
You are right for sure on not demanding diapers for the House and Senate, dang DC would have to take half of Maryland for a new landfill. Hmmm, maybe not a bad thought.
